Lab 3

In today’s lab, I have started on my coursework one. Before I started, I learnt how to lay out my coursework. I learnt how to create a report style coursework which looks professional and would gain me more marks. This is how I would lay out all my coursework’s from now on. In this lab I started to make bullet points on kind of functions I would like in a TV for myself. I talked to other students asking what kind of functions they would like in a TV so that I can get ideas on how to create a design for other users.

This is the second lab. In this week’s lecture we have been told what we are going to be doing for coursework one which is to design an interactive TV for users. My lab tutor, Ray Adams, told us today to think about different interactive functions we could have for our interactive TV. We got to watch an interesting video which was about Nokia and their recent phones that are coming out. It made me think about what kind of interactive functions I could have for my TV and what I would need to think about in order to make it usable for different types of users. 

Lab 1

Today is my first CMT1300 lab and I have just started to set up my new blog. I have registered for a new Google account in order to register with blogger. For this week’s CMT1300 lecture, we got to meet our module leader who told us how we are going to be assessed and what we will be doing over the coming weeks. I have also made new friends this week at university as well as in this lab. Today, I got to meet my module leader who is also my lab tutor even more as we all introduced ourselves to him and got to know each other a bit better. This is my first post and I will be blogging every week letting you know what I am getting up to in my labs every week.
